You don’t need to depend on medication to get rid of your migraine. There are simple tricks you can use to ease off the pain. Check it out below.

1. Acupressure and acupuncture  

Acupressure is the practice of applying pressure at specific points of your body. Doing this can get rid of muscle tension and relieve pain. One popular point is the L1-4 point in the space between the base of the left thumb and pointed finger. You need to apply firm, circular pressure on this point, using the opposite hand, for around 5 minutes. This, in turn, is said to reduce the migraine.

Acupuncture is a form of alternative therapy and is a part of traditional Chinese medicine. In this practice, needles are inserted at specific parts of the body. This treatment is said to be effective for migraine.

2. Applying essential oils

5. Having sex 

Did you know that having an orgasm can reduce migraine pain? Though this remedy doesn’t work for everyone, it’s known to be useful. During intercourse, hormones called endorphins are released which are known to be natural painkillers. Along with this, another option is masturbation.

6. Roll your foot over a tennis ball

This hack may seem strange, but it’s known to be effective. Sometimes, putting pressure on your feet can reduce the pain in other parts of your body, including the brain. Hence, cover your foot with a sock and roll it over a tennis ball. As a result, you will be able to feel your migraine reducing.

7. Taking supplements
